just begin

get out of your head

hi friend,

“the journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.”

everyone great that you admire and look up to didn’t wait for the ideal and perfect conditions to bet on themselves.

they chose to take action regardless of how “ready” or “prepared” they felt.

you just have to put one foot in the door and then keep moving forward.

so…

just begin.

start before you’re ready.

start when it feels scary.

start even though you don’t know if it’ll work our.

nobody gets anywhere by sitting on great ideas.

while you’re out here doubting yourself, there are people out there making moves.

but let’s forget about them for a minute.

let’s focus on you.

why haven’t you started yet?

unpack it.

make it tangible.

then work on solving it, day by day.

you’ve got to be willing to go out into the world and fiercely execute.

recklessly.

unapologetically.

passionately.

the key is beginning before you feel ready enough to.

in the famous words of Rocky Bolboa,

“one step at a time.

one punch at a time.

one round at a time.”

and guess what?

we’re all winging it anyway.

you’re not supposed to have the entire blueprint ready with you on Day 1 or even Day 365.

every project that I’ve pursued uptil now has gone way better than I initially anticipated it to.

regardless of the external outcome and how it was perceived by everyone else.

I learned and I grew.

it was lived experience.

you should focus on these things too.

take a risk and find out.

life’s too short to live it any other way.

love always,

deveshi x
